Proven trick lets you dominate the court—even if your partner just started last month.

If you’ve ever crashed into your partner mid-rally… hesitated on a middle ball… or lost a match you should have won — this one’s for you.

Inside this issue, you’ll discover the simple, proven system top players use to move as one, dominate the court, and win more games (without needing more spin, speed, or new gear).

Plus: 3 bonus tips, one honest apology, and a dead-simple takeaway that could change your entire game this weekend.

**** Doubles Strategy That Wins ****

I’m gonna say something bold. Might even make a few seasoned players spit out their protein shakes:

The ultimate doubles strategy has nothing to do with fancy spins, trick shots, or power smashes.

Nope.

It’s not even about who’s got the newer $200 paddle or the flashiest outfit (though that doesn’t hurt).

The Secret…

The real secret to winning more doubles matches is simple: Cover less court. Communicate more. Stack smarter.

Let me break that down.

🎯 The Benefit…

When both players know exactly who’s covering what and how to move like a team, it feels like telepathy on the court.

You’ll:

  • Force more pop-ups.

  • Make fewer errors.

  • Get to the kitchen faster than a kid to a cookie jar.

  • And—here’s the kicker—win even when the other team has better hands than you.

🧠 The Results…

Master this ONE concept, and you’ll win 3X more games with less effort (and have way more fun doing it).

Yes, even if your partner is still working on their third shot drop… or calls “mine” two seconds after the ball’s hit the ground.

So what IS this ultimate strategy?

Play the "I-Cover-My-Box" system.

Imagine drawing a big square on your half of the court.

Your job?

Own your box. Period.

If it ain’t in your box, don’t touch it.

If it IS in your box, get it like it owes you money.

Here’s what that looks like:

🧪 Real-World Example:

  • You’re on the left. Your partner’s on the right.

  • Ball comes fast down the middle.

  • You don’t hesitate. It’s in your box? Boom. Your shot.

  • Your partner? Trusts you 100% and stays ready in their zone.

You start moving like synchronized swimmers. (Minus the nose clips.)

🔧 Bonus Tips (Easy To Use. Hard To Forget.)

  1. “Mine” & “Yours” is for rookies. Pro-level partners already know based on positioning and patterns.

  2. Use stacking if one player has a stronger forehand or dinking game. Maximize your strengths, minimize confusion.

  3. Communicate between every point. Even if it’s just a quick “You good?” or “Stack here?”

  4. Middle balls go to the forehand. Unless your partner has a killer backhand roll? Then feed that beast.

😬 An Honest Apology…

Look, if you’ve been running around like a wild turkey trying to cover everything on the court…

Or yelling “YOURS!!” a millisecond too late…

No judgment here.

We’ve all been there.
(Heck, I once ran into my own partner trying to get a dink. It wasn’t cute.)

But now you know better. And when you know better?

You play smarter.

✅ Takeaway:

Great doubles teams don’t out-hit you. They out-position you.

🔥 Proof?

Go to any 4.5+ tournament.

Watch how the best teams barely move outside their lanes…

...but win rally after rally with calm, coordinated precision.

That’s not luck.

That’s box-owning, partner-trusting doubles mastery.

Alright, that’s it for today’s lesson from the kitchen line.

Keep dinking smart. Play like a team. And for the love of all things dill — own your box.

See you on the court,
